These Terms of Service govern your use of spaember.co and the treatments, Spa Passes and gift cards offered by Spa Ember. By booking or using our website, you agree to these terms.
Using Our Services
You must be at least 18 years old to book on your own. Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian present. Please give accurate information when you book so we can prepare your session.
Bookings and Appointments
Online booking requests are confirmed by our front desk, usually within one hour during opening hours.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete a short health form.
If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your session so the next client is not delayed. The full price still applies.
Cancellations and No-Shows
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours before) and no-shows are charged the full treatment price, or one visit is deducted from your Spa Pass.
If we need to cancel, we will offer you a new time or a full refund.
Spa Passes
A 5-Visit Pass is valid for 6 months and a 10-Visit Pass for 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift passes start on the date of the first booking.
Each visit covers one treatment up to 60 minutes. For a 90-minute session, use one visit and pay the price difference, or buy a 90-minute pass.
A 5-Visit Pass can be shared with one other person and a 10-Visit Pass with your household.
Passes never renew automatically. An unused pass can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no visits have been used. After that, passes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Expired visits cannot be used or refunded.
Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and may change. The price confirmed at booking applies to that appointment. We accept major cards and HSA/FSA cards at the studio. Gratuities are optional and not included in our prices.
Health and Safety
Tell us about medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications or pregnancy before your session.
Your therapist may adjust or decline a treatment if it is not safe for you.
Massage supports wellbeing but is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Talk to your doctor if you have health concerns.
Respectful Conduct
We offer professional, therapeutic massage only. Any inappropriate behavior toward our staff ends the session immediately, without a refund, and we may refuse future bookings.
Gift Cards
Gift cards can be used for any treatment or Spa Pass. They are valid for the period required by applicable law and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where the law requires it. Please keep your gift card code safe, because we cannot replace a lost code that has already been used.
Website Use
The content on this website, including text, photos and graphics, belongs to Spa Ember or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without permission. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
Liability
We provide our services with care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spa Ember is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be handled by the courts located in New York County, unless the law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in effect when you book apply to that booking.
