Timing matters more than you think. What to do the day before, the hour after and the morning after.
The Day Before
Light movement is great. Skip intense stretching or new workouts so your therapist can feel how your muscles really behave.
The Hour After
Your tissues are warm and relaxed, which makes gentle stretching easier. Keep it slow and avoid forcing range you do not have yet.
The Morning After
A short walk and the two stretches from your aftercare plan help the session last longer.
Therapist tip
Book your next session within three weeks. Muscles hold change better with steady follow-up.
